Two New Caregiving Grant Opportunities
Unpaid family caregivers play a vital role in providing various services to their family members, friends, and loved ones. These services include transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care, which enable individuals to live at home and participate actively in their communities with dignity and respect.
With funding from the U.S. Administration for Community Living (ACL) and as part of the National Caregiver Support Collaborative (NCSC), USAging is leading efforts to strengthen caregiver services and supports and improve access to caregiver navigation services. These initiatives aim to enhance the capacity of the Aging Network to foster innovation in developing and implementing person- and family-centered services that meet the needs of family caregivers. Additionally, they seek to improve the Aging Network’s ability to assist caregivers in accessing essential resources to support their loved ones while maintaining their own well-being.
As part of these efforts, USAging invites organizations within the Aging Network to submit proposals for funding. This funding can be used to: 1) implement, expand or refine innovative caregiving programs and practices, or 2) evaluate existing caregiver navigation services. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to identify the most suitable opportunity for their organizations.
